It was alwas a joy to visit with you on our trips to the Cleveland area. Attaching a cousins photo from Sept 2024. Condolences to all of your children and their families.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Millie’s passing. My husband Gary and I visited with her when she was still in her house. When I last talked with her she was in her apartment. She had told me about the kidney cancer and that she would be moving into assisted living and going on hospice. I had told her if she needs any help packing I would help her since I live in Parma. We had talked about the Sluka family tree she put together and that if her children didn’t want it she would give it to my brother Tim Sluka. We talked about Tim and I coming over and playing a card game of Hand and Foot. I hadn’t heard from her called and number was disconnected. Tim and I feel so bad that we weren’t able to visit with her before her passing. I know she was a peace, and had told me she lived a long life and was ready to be with God and Uncle Chuck. Your parents snd mine ( Dick and Olga) years ago would go on small trips and that is where my mother started the love of lighthouses as they would visit many of them. We always kept in touch. I remembered when we were children we would visit your parents at your house in Garfield Hts. There was always sports playing on the TV and radio. I have a lot of pictures that my Mom had of there trips together. She was very loved and will be missed. Sorry we won’t be able to come to the service and Tim is unable to drive that far but we will be there in spirit. Love your cousins Janette Sluka Ghann and Tim Sluka
My condolences to the Sluka family. Millie was a wonderful woman who loved her family and God fiercely.
