We were deeply saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of such a valued member of our barbershop family. For many years, he wasn’t just a customer — he was a friend, a familiar face, and a part of the conversations and laughter that filled our shop.

My condolences on this loss to your family. Matt quickly became a valued member of my engineering organization within Xylem and we are all saddened that he is no longer with us. Matt was a really good person and was easy to work with, bringing a calmness to the most complex projects.
He also was a wonderful mentor to our team members across the world and was actively working with several engineering improvement teams in our continued pursuit to be better and faster in executing our projects.

I had the privilege of getting to work closely with Matt over the better part of the last year at Xylem on the AL Power Project. Matt was an exceptionally detailed engineer who was a great asset to the entire team. Moreover, Matt was just a really great guy to work with and we shared some laughs along the way. It is very difficult to find that combination of attributes in a coworker and Matt will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his family in this difficult time.
I remember Matt, my neighbor, teaching me some basketball and baseball skills when we would play together as kids. Then, afterwards, we would go into his house and have fudge stripe cookies with milk.
