I have many fond memories of Kent. Always friendly, willing to help, with an easy going manner.
But the memory that stands out most was at a Cleveland Browns - Pittsburgh Steelers game during the 1980's. We were there together in a group with Sis, Kent, Anne, and Hud and the usual suspects!
It was safe to say that I was the only Steeler fan in the group on that day. My beloved Steelers were winning . Kent was in the seat right in front of me. I was most likely driving everyone to frustration as I was cheering on my team with my little Steeler flag on a wooden stick!
At one point when it was obvious the Steelers had the game, Kent very nonchalantly turned around to me, took my flag out of my hands, broke the stick in two, and handed it back to me with a smile!
The next game I took my Terrible Towel instead!
God Bless you dear Kent and rest in peace!
