Franciszek "Frank" Kubis' Obituary
Franciszek "Frank" Kubis, age 88 of Seven Hills, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Born October 9, 1937 in Poland, Frank was the son of the late Jozef and Aniela (Achingier) Kubis. Beloved husband of 67 years of Krystyna (Chwirut) Kubis. Loving father of Barbara Pietraszkiewicz (Mark), Margaret Kubis (boyfriend Ken) and Ralph Kubis (Layla). Cherished grandfather of Diana Roby (Andrew), Jack Pietraszkiewicz (Autumn), Ania Pietraszkiewicz, Aniella Kubis and Abigail Kubis. Great grandfather of Kylie and Emma Roby. Dear brother of Jozef Kubis.
Frank was a train engineer in Poland and later became a machinist in order to spend more time at home with his wife and young children. Frank enjoyed cooking, especially making Polish Prazonki with his family. Some of his other favorite dishes were bean soup, tripe soup and Bigos. Frank also took pride in keeping his yard well landscaped, but over all, what Frank enjoyed the most was spending time with his loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10 a.m at the Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus, 3649 E. 65th St., Cleveland (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, E. 71st St., Cuyahoga Heights.
