Christie Lee (Warren) Fruits passed away on January 17, 2021 peacefully in her home in Garfield Heights, Ohio at the age of 46. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James Fruits; her three children Malachi, Mylee, and Max F Read Obituary

I admired Christie so much. She (and James) did everything possible to try to save my first marriage. We did not know at the time that I was suffering from bipolar disorder and a couple of other things. She really loved me anyway even though I was not easy to love at the time. My ex-husband, Carlos is also extremely grateful for the kindness she and James showed our family. I don’t think Carlos and I would be friends today (after our divorce) without the example they set. Loving everyone, regardless of their flaws or mistakes, is important.
I will always cherish the time that Christie and I taught together at CHS! She was an amazing person and a dear friend! Love, hugs, and prayers to the Fruits’ family!
