We the Poole family have known Adam for many years. He has truly touched our hearts. He is an amazing spirit, has the biggest heart and is so independent. This young man has given so much to life and to others. He has made a difference in our lives and so many other peoples lives. We will always that beautiful face, his smile and laughter. Adam McNichol is very very very nice funny and he called me on the phone and he jokes around with me with his friends in the old days. He came to my house about 30 years ago. I am very sad to learn of Adam’s passing and wish his family peace at this challenging time. I will always have fond and tender memories of Adam on South Park Blvd being a good kid and funny friend. Adam was the first person I knew with a disability and his grace has had a profound impact on me. I wish there were more Adams in the world and am grateful I knew him.
I have my memories of my first two or three years at camp cheerful when Adam was one of the counselors then. The last time I actually saw him we had a little mini reunion nearly 15 years ago. He was absolutely a great guy. My condolences are with all of you and may you have many memories of him in this very difficult time.
I went to high school with Adam, and he was my biggest supporter when I decided to go to Nursing School. His ability to always listen when I needed someone to talk to will never be forgotten. He was a true friend.
