Wayne William Holman's Obituary
WAYNE W. HOLMAN, AGE 85 OF INDEPENDENCE, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2025. Loving husband of the late Barbara (nee Burrows); cherished father of Ellen (Jerry) Galczak; grandfather of CJ (Amy) Galczak; dear brother of Marilyn (Don) Smith-McCoy (both deceased), the late Wendell (Sue), Doris Bise, Gayle (Mary), Gerry (the late Barbara), Roger ( the late Kathy) Peggy (the late Steve) Whitman, and Dennis; beloved son of the late William Victor Holman and Esther Mary Keifer.
Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from The Illuminating Company/CEI after 25+ years. He was full of bright ideas and loved to tinker with things and build with his hands. He was a master at fixing items around the house in an unusual way, but it always worked and lasted. Above all, Wayne loved his family and friends and was always up for an adventure.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd.) ON SATURDAY MAY 31 FROM 10 AM - 12 NOON. A funeral service will be held in Wayne's honor beginning at noon at the funeral home. Wayne will be laid to rest at Mapleshade Cemetery immediately following.
