Walter Allen, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Devoted husband of Margaret Allen (nee Foote) for 53 years. Beloved father of Doug Glass (Darlene), Kim Schroeder (Scott), Jayne Shaffer (Kevin), Leslie Buchleitner (Dave), Toby Allen, Greg Allen (Kim), Jonathan Allen, Juli Roberts (Jud).
Dear son of J.W and Johanna Allen (deceased) and cherished brother of Christine Rhodes (deceased).
Grandfather of Lisa McPherson (Tom), Matt Balga (Amanda), Kristy Rempe (Chris), Dean Glass (Ryan), Tiffany Leach (Ryan), Tim Allen, Michael Schroeder, Kevin Schroeder, Evan Allen, Rachel Buchleitner, Eryn Herrera (Roberto), Elise Allen, Ashley Gretta (Austin), Katie Roberts, Lauren Roberts, Andrew Roberts. Great Grandfather of 11 and Great Great Grandfather of 2.
Walter served in the United States Army and worked as a commercial artist, was the senior Vice President at Artist Studios, and was also very active in the Brooklyn Hts. community.
