Thomas J. Stanek, Sr., age 82; beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Bauer) and the late Barbara Soucek (nee Bolesta); loving father of Dr. Thomas J. Stanek, Jr. "T.J." and step father of the late Dr. Gregory Graham; devoted son of Anthony and Anne (both deceased); dearest brother of Anthony Stanek (deceased) (Evelyn), Paula Yerty (Terry) and Melanie Boyd (Rob); uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Tom was a long time usher at St. Basil the Great Church. He was a retired business agent and proud member of Machinists Union Local 1363 and an avid car enthusiast, known by many as "Ace." He enjoyed gardening, traveling, restaurants and spending time with his son and family.
Family and friends may call at GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME (AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME) 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE FOR VISITATION ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2024 FROM 4-8PM. Prayers at the funeral home Thursday, October 3, at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, OH at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
