Theresa Fleischer's Obituary
Theresa Fleischer, (nee Mayer), age 94, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022. Born April 29, 1928, Theresa was an ethnic German from what was then called Yugoslavia. She came to America with her parents and grandparents in November of 1949. John, also an ethnic German, arrived from Romania that year. They met through mutual friends and married in Cleveland in 1951. Theresa and John were married for 43 years, until he passed away in 1994. Together, they shared a passion for gardening and worked for many years perfecting their vision. Theresa is survived by her children, Sarina Kinney, Linda Darrow (the late Jim), Judy Lester (the late Rodney) and John Fleischer; grandchildren Bradford Kinney, John Kinney (Meghan), Lisa Darrow, Ian Darrow (Angie) and Samantha Storey, and a great grandson James Darrow. She dearly loved her kitties and her Pugsly the Pug. Her family is blessed and grateful for the loving and compassionate care that her son John provided to her over the years. Private burial services will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
