I will always remember the many times when our mothers laughed about today and yesteryear at Marymount Place. After all they jumped rope together in the second grade in the old neighborhood. The polka Sundays that your family brought to Marymount Place were a highlight for all of the Stevens Clan--my son especially loved the music and the ice cream. God loves your Mom, she was a great woman. I can hear her and my mother, Adele, laughing while sitting at the side of Jesus. God bless you all.

I am very sorry to hear of the death of your loved one. When I lost my father on May 7th this Bible scripture brought me much comfort. I pray that it brings you comfort too. Rev. 21: 4....."And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Dear Barbara, Connie, Jeff and rest of family, I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Momma Sophie, she was a great friend to me through the years and especially during my High School years that I shared with Barbara. She was always a Bright Light for my Mom, Brother Larry and for me. When we last visited on the phone it was a true JOY to have those moments together again. May God and the Angels Welcome Her to Heaven as she always welcomed us into her life. Blessings to you all during this very sad time. She had a long full life, and she will make many more new friends in Heaven I am certain.
