Sister Joanne Wachowiak, SSJ-TOSF, age 87; passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Regian Health Center in Richfield, OH. She was a beloved daughter of Joseph and Theresa Wachowiak (nee Frydoch) (both deceased); dearest sister of the following: living: Nancy Wachowiak and deceased: Joseph Wachowiak, Dennis Wachowiak and Sandra Krutza, dear aunt and great aunt of many.
Sr. Joanne is survived by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Third Order of St. Francis, with whom she shared her life for 71 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Chapel at Jennings Center for Senior Living, 10204 Granger Rd., Garfield Heights, OH 44125 Interment will be in Stevens Point, WI.
