To the family of Sr.  Angelette,   Please accept my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy.  I was deeply saddened to learn of Sr.Angelette’sdeath.  Her death has left a large hole in our hearts.  I know she will be deeply missed by her family and by all those who knew her and loved her.   Sr.’s name really fit her because she was an “angel.†She was a very kind, loving, considerate, loyal, grateful and generous person.  God loved her, knew her and walked with her and He remains with her now!!!  She always went the extra-mile for her students as she strove to educate them and help build a strong foundation for the very early stages of their relationship with God.     Our friendship with Sr. began many years ago at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish when our daughter, Rita, was fortunate to be in Sr.’s First Grade class.  She was a great teacher and brought FUN to her classroom and to her students.  Her students, and their parents, benefitted so much by knowing her!!!    “Angels welcomed the newcomer     with open arms,     And Heaven got      a lot nicer.† (Unknown)     And, I know Heaven is a lot nicer with Sr. Angelette there!!!!     “Wherever a beautiful soul       has been,      here is a trail of      beautiful memories!!!!† (Unknown).         May beautiful memories of Sr. Angelette bring us peace and comfort and help to heal the holes in our hearts!!!         There are so many memories of Sr. that I could mention but I will share just this one.  After we moved to AZ, we had the honor of hosting  Sr. at our home for a few days.  Sr. had never been out West before and was completely overwhelmed and mesmerized by the beauty of the desert and the mountains.  She absorbed all the grandeur of God’s magnificent creations.  So much so, that she accidentally became too “up close and personal†with one of God’s cacti. This encounter earned her the loving, and apropos, nickname of “Cactus Jack.† After that, all of her correspondence ended with her signature followed by “Cactus Jack.† It was a nickname that she cherished and that kept the memories of her trip on the forefront!  I know that we all have many of our own wonderful memories that we cherish and that will help comfort us and bring us peace and healing.  We were BLESSED to have had her in our lives.  And I know Sr. would laugh now as I share this comment—I believe Sr. holds the “Guinness World Record†for number of cups of tea from one tea bag!!!  She was an absolute delight!!!            You will be in thoughts and prayers during this most sad and difficult time!!!!  May God bless everyone of you as you work through the fog of grief.       May Sr. Angelette rest in the love and peace of the Lord!        Â
