Salvatore J. Crasi's Obituary
Salvatore J. Crasi, a man whose days were stitched together with hard work, quiet joys, and the company of the people he loved, passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 95.
Loving husband of Carol (deceased), brother to Theresa Kawolics (Richard, deceased), Anthony (Shirley, both diseased) and William (deceased). Passionate father to Marc (Denise), John (deceased) and David (Lori). Caring grandfather to Derek, Matthew, Angelina (Nacho), Justin, Miranda (Tony), Brandon, Marissa (Tyler) and Hannah. Devoted great grandfather to 9.
He took pride in making homemade wine, a tradition that filled his home with the fragrance of fruit and laughter. When the Cleveland teams took the field or court, he was never far from the screen - hopeful and loyal. His garden was a place where he found joy and peace.
An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed hunting and the quiet stillness that comes with being out in the woods. His hands were rarely idle; carpentry gave him a chance to share his passion with others.
Above all, he loved sharing life with his wife, Carol. Their days together were small adventures - time set aside for easy mornings, new places, and the kind of companionship that deepens over decades. He cherished every gathering with friends and family, believing that shared meals, stories, and simple togetherness were some of life's finest offerings. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, craftsmanship, and the generous way he showed up for the people around him.
