Ronald Getts' Obituary
RONALD GETTS, age 78 of Independence, passed away on February 8, 2022. Loving husband of Mary Jane for 54 years; cherished father of Lisa Bender Becker (Tony), and Diane Thompson (Scott); dear brother of Tina Repasy (Larry), Judy McCann (deceased), and Jeff Getts (Amy, deceased); son of the late Felix and Sophie Getts; and proud Pops to Veronica (Aedric), Shane, Chris, Marielle, Clare, Drew, and Nick.
Ron worked for BF Goodrich for over 30 years, was an avid golfer and bowler. He sang in the church choir for many years and also served as a lector.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside) ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13 FROM 12-3 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence, on Monday, February 14 at 10 AM. Interment to follow.
