Our favorite memories of Roger...
...the way his eyes lit up whenever he saw Anastasia and Jeremy! His face lit up when we would talk about them during our visits and you knew he loved them so much.
...the way he would attempt to fling himself out of bed so we could go sit outside quietly in the courtyard, him smoking his smokes, watching the little ones playing...he liked that.
...his eyeroll whenever he thought someone or something (usually a nurse or aid) was nuts.
...the way he asked, "Who?" with a grin when you asked about someone he hadn't heard from in a while.
...his kiss on my hand as gratitude that was never needed in the first place.
This man was a sweet man and he will be missed.
