Bob was a quiet, generous, hardworking and dignified man. He truly was a self-made man. He was incredibly generous to his family, friends, employees and even strangers. He was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always took the responsibility of his family’s needs very seriously. Bob was a loving husband and took great care of his first wife, Suzanne until cancer took her life. He also was a loving husband to his second wife, Judy. He worked hard, sometimes at multiple jobs to provide for his family. At the age of 84 he still worked 6 days a week. He had a passion for his business. In 1974 he took a giant leap of faith and started his own business in manufacturing automotive aftermarket products. Because of his success, he was able to improve the lives of his family and friends. He had a strong faith in God and believed that he was given the responsibility to care for others by providing employment, education and opportunities for them. He beat the odds by owning and operating a thriving business for over 50 years. All of his children, grandchildren and many family members and friends worked for Bob at some time in their lives. Some of them still do. He strongly believed in following the golden rule. He shared and demonstrated his beautiful faith in all he did. He did it with modesty, love, selflessness and respect. Bob was a health advocate. His family and friends admired his disciplined lifestyle. He ate healthy, exercised daily, and was quite knowledgeable about vitamins and supplements. He was an avid sports fan and a lifelong athlete. He excelled at golf, bowling and horseshoes. He loved watching all sports from the sidelines too. Bob has left a legacy that will impact many. He was a man who lived his life well.
