So glad that I got to see Mr. Buyers about 15 years ago and tell him much of 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' that I still remembered from 1959!He made Shakespeare come to life!Rest in peace Mr. Buyers.

Thanks to Mr. Buyers' English classes in high school (Wickliffe class of '84), I had an excellent foundation to build a successful journalism, editing, publishing and marketing/communications career. At OU, I aced a tough "Grammar & Writing" class that my fellow students dreaded -- I got A! He is one high school teacher I remember fondly to this day, 40 years later.
