Im Jerry Brown, an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 297 and also I was his son Robert's Merit Badge Counselor for his Communications Merit Badge. As part of the merit badge, he had to introduce someone to a pretend audience, so he chose his father. Robert Jr. gave a brief introduction to me about his dad and spoke so highly of him. After listening to his introduction, I wished I could have had a chance to interact with Robert Sr. By all accounts, a good man indeed. He will be missed.
