Rickey Joe Maynard
The family of Rickey Joe Maynard, formerly of Mantua, resided in Medina, Ohio, is saddened to announce of his passing on January 10th 2025 at the age of 67 years.
Rickey is preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathleen Marie and son Andrew Patrick and his parents Boney and Betty Maynard.
He is survived by his brother Timothy (Eulalia) Maynard, Sisters Loretta Gale (the late Robert) Dolecek, Gloria Jean (Henry) Hill, Malena Marie (Jeff) Stone and many nieces and nephews.
Rickey worked for 40 years at Cleveland Track as a supervisor. He loved his family, and family get togethers. He enjoyed the outdoors whether it was fishing or working in the yard. He also loved vintage cars and race cars. He loved his dogs as if they were his children. One of his favorite pastimes was watching TV and eating ice cream.
He was blessed to have dear friends Mannish, Aruna, Pooja, Shreya and Vraj Patel. He loved them dearly. As well as Michelle and Connor in his life.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at The Vodrazka Funeral Home of Independence, 6505 Brecksville Rd., (RT. 21, S. of Rockside), from 10 to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Private family burial at a later date.
The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering for Rickey at a later time to be announced.
