Richard A. Wojtach's Obituary
Richard A. Wojtach, age 80. Beloved son of the late Anthony and Helen (nee Miller) and father of Nanette Cox and Becky (Dave) Baumgartner. Loving brother of Loretta (Leonard) Labuda, Thomas (Cathy) and Kenneth; cherished uncle of Pamela (James) Skelton, Douglas (Heather) Labuda, Scott (Bonnie) Labuda, Bradley (Karina) Labuda, Christopher, Paul, Christina and Joshua; precious great uncle of Jake Skelton, Sydney Skelton and Vizcaya Labuda; grandfather and great grandfather. Along with his loving family, Rich leaves behind a host of devoted friends, many of whom knew him best as 'Karaoke Rich.' Rich's passion for music led him to Curbside Coffee Shop, where he performed karaoke shows twice weekly for the past thirteen years. Performing shows in nursing homes and for military veteran causes were among his greatest joys. He treasured time spent in prayer, saying the Rosary, attending daily Mass, and taking trips to his favorite shrines. Those that Rich leaves behind to mourn rejoice in the knowledge that his voice has been restored and he now sings songs of praise with the angels. Family will receive friends in THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21, S. OF ROCKSIDE), FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2021 FROM 3-8 P.M. Prayers at the funeral home Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, at 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
