A Memorial tree was ordered in memory of Richard A. Fazi by May Stanton (Agasucci). Plant a TreeIt is with great sadness & deep sympathy to be writing a tribute for our dear cousin, Ricky. You are fondly remembered by your 'Canadian Family' for your kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness and contagious smile. No matter the occasion, weddings or funerals, your presence, support and willingness to help was always greatly appreciated. Your openness and friendly nature made everyone you connected with feel like a 'friend', even for those you had just met. You were always quick to spend time with Carmen and Peter and to entertain them with your many humorous life stories. Your love and dedication to your family brought you great joy and made your life meaningful. You will be deeply missed and we will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. With much love, Mary Stanton (Agasucci), Carmen & Peter RockMay Stanton (Agasucci)
A Memorial tree was ordered in memory of Richard A. Fazi by Agnes Noto. Plant a TreeI know the big celebration day is coming up in our hearts go out to you,my dear cousin! You are dearly missed, and its times with family we will remember your kind generosity.Youre respected in the community and Garfield Heights will never be the same. Ricky & Truck! It started with my grandpa Luigi Fazi coming to Cleveland Ohio as an Italian immigrant. He was a delicatessen master, who was a claimed in the local Cleveland press. He imported wonderful products from his homeland, that you couldnt get at the time back in postwar era like extra-virgin olive oil, which is the main staple in most homes these days. His son, Toni Fazi was a prominent member of municipal development, and he passed on the wonderful traits to his son Ricky, who was a patriot and loyal fan of the region of Cleveland, Ohio.I learned this because I grew up with Ricky as his closest cousin in age, but I resided in Canada, not that far away, just over the Buffalo- Niagara border in Hamilton Ontario. My mother Philomena, was Rickys fathersTonys only sister who was born in Italy and settled in Canada post war. My mother missed being near to her new family so much she created a bond with the Fazi family and hence, my relationship with Cousin , Rick, Ronnie, and Bobby began back in the 60s -woohoo what an era. We were the 70s children of women who gave birth late in life. Ricky was born to my favorite auntie Anna, who I loved and adored, and my uncle Tony, Rickys father. Whens summer in 1973 I got to spend three weeks in Garfield Heights, Cleveland Ohio and got to know Ricky as a little league baseball player in the summer evenings and then years later as a crazy teenager with a fast car Va room!! When I got married Ricky met my husband to be Joseph Noto of 43 years, the night beforeWe wed in Canada. He was so friendly and persuasive that Joe didnt even expect He was getting his own little bachelor party with Riki that night on his first meeting. As time went on Ricky got to know all of my children, especially Ashley who is my first when we were very young. Then Fran & Danny. Ricky was always there when we needed a hand and we loved our family in Cleveland, my cousins, Ronnie and Annette, and their beautiful daughters,Angela and Carla. We also were blessed to be part of Rickys marriage to Amy, and getting to know their children, Mark and Katie, who loved and cared for the father. We even embraced, their extended family, closest cousins Donna & Danny and their families! And friends hugs to all of the community who came out to pay their respects Rickys tribute! We hope to live on celebrating your memory with Rick Fazi, and continuing our loving relationships in the future. Go in peace my dear Ricky, you will be remembered and never forgotten for your big heart, and unending spirit.Love AgnesAgnes Noto

A candle was lit in remembrance
To The Fazi Family, Sending Our Deepest Sympathy. Ricky will forever be in our hearts. He was a great friend to our family. He will be missed dearly.May God Keep You All In The Palm Of His Hands.
Ricky my dearest, not only are we cousins from afar but also friends. I’ll miss our late nite phone chats. We are both free-spirited and travel where the wind takes us…always taking time to stop and talk to a friend in need. On Friday nites you’d be out looking for a place to happen, keeping young at heart organizing social functions for your beloved Eagles Club!
We’ll cherish the crazy times we had and remember the laughter and your passion for hunting, cacciatore salami from Galuccis, and good old 70’s style Chinese food from downtown Cleveland. I shed tears because I know there will never be anyone that can take your place even when we butted heads, it was mere sisterly/brotherly banter. Both of us are the babies of the family, born to mothers who face it, were likely experiencing their mid-life crisis, and yet were pregnant with us rugrats! We were the “Brat Pack†getting up to our harmless mischief and hilarious shenanigans LOL
I recall your visit to Canada when you took Joe and me to see the Rolling Stones at the Toronto Sky Dome and then another time with your sweet nieces Angela & Carla. You loved our Canadian Beer, back bacon, and Italian delicacies yum!! We appreciated all your help when you came to stay with us back in 2013 and lastly for Dan’s wedding, always getting Tim Horton’s donuts for the guys at Joe’s garage.
You were fiercely determined to face the fight of a lifetime with a courageous, brave heart. You were a proud father who deeply loved and generously cared for his children and were loved by so many friends in your community, and by your huge family. Especially, your dear brother Ronnie will miss his little brother who often enjoyed family celebrations together!!
Now that you are a shining star in the great big sky, I pray you watch over us all until we meet again...
Go with God, your suffering ended, and paradise before you. Great love and peace from Agnes & Joe Noto and kids Danny, Ashley, Francesca, Francy, and grand-baby Isabella xoxoxo
I met my dad Gino's cousin Ricki a few times and I found him to be a funny down to earth man who was always smiling. I am sorry for everyone's loss as I know he was an important person in my Dad's life. Love Gina
I'm very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I grew up around him and his extended family and I grew to love an appreciate them very much. I'll especially miss how he always asked me "you hungry?" Even though I'd say no, he would still buy me food and make me eat it! It's been a long time since I've seen Rick but I've often thought of him and his family, rest easy friend. Sending love to all of his family during this sad time.
