Please accept my sincerest condolences on the death of Ray Hudiak. While i was only a student of his at Our Lady of Lourdes high school, i have always had such great respect and high admiration for him for being the teacher and man that he was. my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. in my mind he will always be Mr. H
Mr. Hudiak was my biology teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, and one of my favorite instructors. I worked on the school newspaper and he was on my “beat” to gather news. Years later he showed up at a grand reunion at Cleveland Central Catholic and then joined other gatherings with my Class of ‘66.
I was privileged to work with Ray for many years. He was a great guy. Full of integrity and always gave good advice. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Thank you for everything. Thank you for being the best father figure I could ever ask for. You are, and always will be, my idol. I admire you for how you viewed life and always kept a positive attitude about everything. I admire you for how you loved our family, and were there for me every step of my life. There was nothing I loved more than hearing you say you were proud of me, because that’s all I ever wanted, to make you proud. Whether it was sports, school, my career, or just life in general, you always let me know how proud of me you were and how you loved me. You really were the best grandpa a kid could ever ask for and I’ll appreciate the memories I have with you forever. I know you’ll be with me and watch over me forever up in Heaven, and I hope you can guide me to be as great of a man as you were.
