Ralph Contipelli's Obituary
RALPH CONTIPELLI, AGE 88, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2024. Cherished husband of Rita Contipelli (nee Pallini) for 53 years; son of the late Elia and Josephine Contipelli; devoted father of Renato (Michelle), Ross (Sandra), Reno (Tiffany), Rochelle Zeitz, and Rick (Stephanie); grandfather of Marisa, Nikki, Kendall (Bryan), Marcus, Riley, Matthew, Kate, and Luca; great grandfather of Alessandra and Elia; dear brother of the late Corrine (Chester) and Delma (the late Ronald).
Ralph was first and foremost a family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. He worked selflessly as a public servant his entire career as Finance Director, Council President, and Mayor of Cuyahoga Hts. He was highly respected by his peers and all who knew him for his honesty and integrity.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside) ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25, FROM 1-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence, on Monday, February 26 at 12:30 PM. Ralph will be laid to rest at Mapleshade Cemetery.
