Paula Slater's Obituary
PAULA SLATER (nee BOROWSKI), AGE 66, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON MONDAY, MAY 20, 2024. Cherished wife of Tom Slater for 33 years; loving daughter of the late Daniel and Betty Borowski; dear sister of Janice Taylor (Scott), and Gerald Borowski (Donna); sister-in-law of Donald Slater, Carol Agnew, Patrick Slater (Beth) and the late Mary Slater; aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Paula is described by those who knew her best as a very loyal friend. In addition to her family whom she treasured, Paula loved animals, flowers, music, dancing and cooking. Being very scheduled and detail-oriented, Paula always followed the old adage of “ A place for everything and everything in it’s place.”
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd), ON FRIDAY, MAY 24, 2024, FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 10 AM at St. Michael Catholic church in Independence. Paula’s body will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cuyahoga Heights.
