The memories that I have with my grandma are nothing extraordinary, but they are ever so sweet. She taught me that the simple things in life can be the most beautiful. Drinking iced tea on a summer day with polka music on the background, cooking for family, and time at St. Peter and Paul were a few things that gave her the most light. She had a friend in every corner. My grandma treated everyone with the utmost importance and it is no doubt she is in heaven.
