Pamela Blair's Obituary
Pamela (Nee Malloy), age 76, of Independence, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024. Loving mother of Jason Blair; grandmother of Xander Blair and Cooper Blair. Dear sister of Patricia Malloy, Bill Malloy (Claire), and Joan Malloy (Giovanni Baiano); daughter of the late Lee and Betty Malloy.
Pamela worked tirelessly for nearly a quarter of a century at the VA Hospital on Route 21 as a pharmaceutical technician. Outside of work she loved shopping at Westside Market and curling up to a good book or watching a great movie. Back in the day, Pamela was a wonderful co-ed softball player. She was also involved in her church as a Sunday school teacher who taught morals and values, and she directed several church plays with the children. But most of all, Pamela had a great love for her family and enjoyed cooking her Bohemian style food for them.
Because of her immense love for all animals, both great and small, memorial contributions may be made in Pamela's honor to World Wildlife Fund at wwf.org.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT INDEPENDENCE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 6615 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 10 AT 6 PM.
