Although I didn't know Nancy personally, I do remember Tim and Sarah. What wonderful children she raised! When Tim was in the fourth grade, the family went to Florida for a vacation, and he brought me back a pair of dolphin earrings--and Sarah was quite the dancer perfoming in Maple Leaf's talent show. I'm sure Nancy was so proud of them! My thoughts and prayers are with you now--remember the good times! Fondly, Kathleen Papesh
I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy while volunteering at Elmwood Elementary school. It seems that no matter when I saw her , she had a smile and a positive attitude. I also remember children hugging her and holding her hand as she escorted them from here to there in the school. I had respect for what she did at the school and I admired the way she treated all her "children" with warmth and compassion.I also admired her dedication. Elmwood Elementary will not be the same without her. I will miss her and the warmth she provided with her smile. My deepest sympathy to all of her family, Sincerely, Kathleen Russo

My thoughts and prayers have been with Nancy and her family these past weeks. Nancy was a special person. I remember seeing her walking down the hall hand in hand with some little person. The two of them were always happy and talking about where they were going or what they were doing. She had a great gift with children. Those memories are special to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. During the six years that I knew her, she was an incredible member of our staff at Elmwood Elementary. I will always remember her positive, smiling attitude even during the most difficult of situations. Most of all, I will remember her tireless dedication to meeting the needs of those children she worked with and touched their lives. Nancy will be misssed.
