Dear Mrs. Polaniec and Michelle: In case you don't remember me, Michelle and I were childhood friends from Garfield Heights. My home was on Darlington, and I just recently lost my own father. Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your husband and father. Reading his death notice brought back memories tucked deep down in my heart. Mr. Polaniec will always be remembered as a deeply devoted, kind and gentle man who always made me feel welcome in your home and lives. I feel blessed that your family was part of my past.
