Miriam P. Best, (nee Burkart), age 79, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Sarasota, Florida. Beloved wife of the late Garnett. Devoted mother of Mark Hickok (deceased), Craig Hickok (Lea), Amy Hickok-Reams and Jeffrey Hickok (Christine). Loving grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 2. Cherished daughter of the late Philip & Mariam Burkart. Miriam was the Director of Nursing at Kaiser Hospital for many years.
