MARJORIE A BENICK, AGE 78, PASSED AWAY ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2022. Cherished wife of the late Nick Benick for 40 years; dear sister of Mary Helen Weimer (Merkle) of South Carolina and the late Georgia McCollum (Merkle) of Independence; loving aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews and great great aunt to 4.
Marjorie worked for Halle Bros. for many years and also for Superior Tool from where she retired. She loved to garden and enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach for many years. She was an avid fan of the Browns and OSU football. She absolutely adored her family and loved watching the Home Days Parade in Independence from her porch.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD. (1/2 mile south of Rockside) ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, FROM 11-1 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1PM at the funeral home. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.
