I had no idea that Marilyn passed away. It is unbelievable to me. All the years we were side by side, 8th grade through our days at Marymount and beyond. We haven't been together in a while. She was truly my best friend and will be greatly missed. I know she is in heaven, she is guiding us.
Someday, hopefully not too soon, we will see each other again.
I was shocked and saddened when Friday's message came from Mayor Kurtz. Marilyn was a wonderful person and shall be missed by so many.
I am sorry to hear this. Such a great lady, she will truly be missed.

Just heard of the sad passing of Marilyn .
I knew her as a sweet and loving person that never had a bad word for anyone . She was kind and thoughtful and cared about everyone in a loving and sincere way . She definitely was one to turn the other cheek . I experienced it many times while having the privilege of working with her at the civic center . She was a people person And treated everyone like we would all like to be treated . I believe that she is with her loved ones in heaven and seeing all the seniors whose lives she tried to make better each day at the center . She certainly was a special human being and I am thankful I could call her friend . I pray for all of you who loved her the most, during these difficult times .

I will always remember Marilyn for her caring, generous and “sweet “ heart by always asking others and especially asking how my family and I were doing.
