My Mom spent over 17 weeks in hospice. So much was taken away from her and her life became limited to lying in bed. She handled this suffering with such class, dignity, strength, faith and acceptance. She had mentioned often how fun it will be to see Dad again. When she said, she wanted to go home. I knew she was not talking about Karen Drive and ready for her eternal home. I was overwhelmed with how well she handled her final chapter on this earth. I am so proud of her. I am forever grateful for the countless memories and conversations we shared going back to the early days on Hillgrove Ave. to the present day. My life will never be the same, and that is a good thing, because there is nothing like my Mother's love.
