Marilyn A. Deliberato's Obituary
Marilyn A. Deliberato (nee Golubski) age 83; beloved wife of 50 years to Donato "Danny" F.; loving mother of Matthew D. (Katie), Dana A. Rubis (John) and Marla G.; cherished Grammie of Grace, Gianluca, Anneliese and Alexandra; dearest daughter of Anthony and Alice (nee Siwinski) (both deceased); dear sister of Dianne M. Toronski (deceased) (Jack) and sister-in-law of Alex (Mary) (both deceased), Mike (deceased) (Rosemary) and Tony (Dolores) (both deceased) aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Marilyn owned and operated Golubski Deliberato Funeral Home for more than 50 years. She was a was graduate of Marymount College and devoted much of her life to serving her community, church, and family. She was a member of the Garfield Heights Civil Service Commission, the debutante coordinator for the Cleveland Society of Poles and the Italian Cotillion. Marilyn was also a member of the Tai Caravan #125 and the Christ Child Society.
Deeply committed to her faith, Marilyn served as a lector and Extraordinary Minister at Saints Peter and Paul Church and St. Basil the Great Church. She was an active member of the St. Basil the Great Music Ministry and generously gave her time as a bereavement counselor, offering comfort and support to those in need.
Marilyn will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her love of dancing and singing, and her remarkable ability to find something positive in every situation. Her warmth, faith, and kindness touched countless lives and will be cherished by all who knew her.
Friends may call at Vodrazka Golubski Deliberato Funeral Care, 6505 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio 44131 FOR VISITATION ON FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026 FROM 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Basil the Great Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:30 am (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Entombment All Saints Cemetery.
