Margaret B. Allen's Obituary
Margaret B. Allen (nee Foote), age 96 of Brooklyn Heights, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Born April 17, 1930 in Brooklyn Hts., Ohio, Margaret was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Schmidt) Foote. Beloved wife of the late Walter Allen for 53 years. Loving mother of Doug Glass (Darlene), Kim Schroeder (Scott), Jayne Shaffer (Kevin), Leslie Buchleitner (Dave), Toby Allen, Greg Allen (Kim), Jonathan Allen and Juli Roberts (Jud). Grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 12 and great great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of 14 siblings (all deceased).
Margaret found joy in the everyday pleasures of life. She enjoyed gardening and took satisfaction in tending to her flowers and watching them grow. She also loved baking, and the kitchen was often a place where her care and creativity came together in the form of homemade treats shared with family and friends.
Above all else, Margaret loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Whether gathered around the table, sharing stories, or simply enjoying one another's company, those times were among the most treasured of her life. Her love for her grandchildren was deep and enduring, and she took great pride in watching them grow.
Family and friends may gather for visitation at Vodrazka Golubski Deliberato Funeral Care, 6505 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Ohio on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 1 - 3 p.m.
