LOUIS A. SHAINKER, age 73; loving son of the late Elizabeth (nee Montori); devoted cousin and friend of many; Louis was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and John Carroll University. Louis was a dedicated servant to his church and community throughout his life and a faithful member of the Holy Name Society at Holy Name Church, as well as the Diocesan Holy Name Society. An avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, Louis was a lifetime member of the Cleveland Hiking Club and active for over 50 years. Family and friends are asked to meet at Holy Name Church, 8328 Broadway Ave. Cleveland, OH where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. VISITATION AT CHURCH ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted at www.GDFH.net.
