Kim E. Branam's Obituary
KIM EDWARD BRANAM, age 62; beloved husband of Karen (nee Sherman); loving father of Kelly Branam-Macauley (Jean), Kimberly Smuda (Jeremy), Kristi Kosir (John), Kasey Branam (Bennett); devoted grandfather of Sarah, Andrea, Jameson, Justin, Laney, Marie Jeanelle, Lincoln, Logan, Letty, Lilyana and Christophe; dear brother of John Keith Branam (Dawn); devoted uncle, coach and friend. Kim's biggest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was dedicated to Hoopstars Basketball, which he founded, directed and coached for over 25 years, and he was an avid poker player. Family and friends are asked to meet for a Celebration of Life Gathering at Elyria High School Gymnasium, 601 Middle Ave, Elyria, OH 44035 on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 1-3pm, followed by a service at 3pm. Tennis shoes required, shooting hoops optional. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Kim's name to the Boys and Girls Club of America, 1275 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309-3506 or at www.bgca.org.
