John and I didn't know Kathy until we met her on Clair Hall when my mother-in-law Dolores moved in there. Many days I would arrive and she would be sitting at the table waiting for lunch. I watched her decline slowly and she told me of her struggles. I met many of her children and siblings. I wish I had met her sooner.
