Bonnie,Joyce & Wayne and Families - Please know my deepest sympathy is with you all. All my memories of Uncle Joe are good ones! Yes, even his "stories" - it would be like listening to my Dad! A special memory of my childhood is the family vacations to Mantua and Uncle Joe making "dough balls" to fish with and him saying "now don't eat that, its for the fish". My prayers are with you all. I love Uncle Joe. He was the best Uncle a kid or man could ask for. He loved his family. The memories are great. From playing Santa at Grandma's & Grandpa's on Lester Ave., the many sleep overs at his & Aunt Mary's house & the trouble I got in, all the family visits throughout the year, my back yard picnics where the cook(Uncle Joe) always got the best parking spot, my learning from the grill master, the expert classes on spec(although I had to go through many classes), our many fishing experiences, from Mantua, Lake Erie, Lake Buckhorn in Canada, the St. Lawrence & Jerry's pond. He loved teaching his skills. He could also spin a yarn as good as my Dad. I will miss him greatly. Love, Jerry
We want to extend our deepest condolences to Bonnie, Joyce, & Wayne and of course all of the grandchildren that will miss him. Although we live a good distance away from all of you, we think of our family in Ohio very often. As a kid I remember wrestling with Uncle Joe and the family picnics in his backyard. Uncle Joe will be greatly missed. He was a warm loving person who always had a smile on his face. We always had a great time at the family picnics with him. I'll always remember the parties at Uncle Jerry's with Uncle Joe fishing and cooking on the grill. Love, Scott and Tati Jordan
