Joe was one Hell of a person and a very dear friend of my late Uncle Nick Lusk. They enjoyed many many years of the Force together and remained friends up until the time Uncle Nick passed away. They are back together now and Joe is once again making Uncle Nick laugh and shake his love.God rest his soul.

Joe was the best. I was a rookie patrolman in 1981 and joined "C" Platoon in the Fourth District. Joe practically ran the shift. He was the best office guy I ever saw and made it look effortless. And he had the best stories and was always laughing. If you were in Joe's presence and not having a laugh it was certainly on you.I was also lucky to work with Rick many years later. He was just as easy going as his dad. Both class acts for sure.Joe you will be missed, but never forgotten. R. I. P. My Brother In Blue.
