JOHN T RODDY, AGE 62 OF INDEPENDENCE, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY SURROUNDED BY FAMILY ON THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2024. Loving husband of Karen for 30 years; dear father of John T Jr., and Robert F (Kristi); beloved son of Frank and the late Kathleen Roddy; cherished brother of Frank Jr. (Patricia), William (Karen), Kathleen Baden (John), Timothy (Victoria), and Mary Stretar (Jason); brother-in-law to John Rusnaczyk Jr. (Susan), and Deborah Jeffrey (James); cousin and uncle to many.
John lived a life filled with laughter and loved all Cleveland sports - particularly the Browns. He was also an avid fan of Notre Dame and Ohio State, his sons' alma maters. Above all, John's family was the most important part of his life.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside) ON TUESDAY, JUNE 11 FROM 3:30-7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Brecksville. John will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
