John Marotta's Obituary
JOHN MAROTTA, AGE 76 OF PARMA, PASSED AWAY ON SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 2025. Cherished husband of Marie Marotta for 54 years; dear father of Raymond (Debbie), John Jay (Amy), Matthew (Missy), and Angela Wrege (Thomas); loving brother of Benny (Josephine), Emira Cipriano (Louis), and Mark (Lynn); son of the late Benjamin and Yolanda Marotta; grandfather of Malorie, Lukas, Madeline, Mary Grace, Molly, Joshua, Emma, Skyler (Nick), Jeremy, Dominic, and Max.
John owned his own plumbing business, Ridge Plumbing, for over 40 years through which he serviced many families and businesses around Northeast Ohio. He was a member of Local 55 and President of the Contractor's Association for a number of years. When he wasn't working, John loved to be out on the water fishing and boating.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE, (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd.) ON THURSDAY, JUNE 26, FROM 2-4 PM AND 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence on Friday, June 27 at 10 AM. John will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
