John J Hrehocik's Obituary
John J. Hrehocik, 81, of Independence passed away on February 8, 2018. Born March 21, 1936 in Glassport, PA, John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Elaine. He also leaves behind daughter, Michele, and grandchildren, Danielle, Erin, and Joseph; son, Jeffrey, daughter-in-law, Megan, and grandson, Alex; and extended family which includes sisters-in-law (Kathleen and Audrey), many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends. John was an active member of St. Michael’s Parish in Independence, serving as a Eucharistic minister and Treasurer of the Saint Vincent DePaul Society for 20 years. After 40 years of service, John retired in 2001 from Consumers Plumbing & Heating in Bedford Heights.
A celebration of life mass will be held at 10:00 am on February 14, 2018 at St. Michael’s Church in Independence, followed by a private interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John’s memory to Holy Family Home Health Care & Hospice, 6707 State Rd, Cleveland, OH 44134.
