Joan R. Kaelin's Obituary
Joan R. Kaelin (nee Burke), age 92 of Independence, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 18, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Kaelin. Loving mother of Stephen (Krista) Kaelin and Kristin (Ron) Ludrosky. Devoted Grams of Timothy Kaelin, Heather (Sam) Randazzo, Ashley (Ray) Yost, and McKenna and Michael Ludrosky. Cherished Great Grams of Leonardo and Arabella Randazzo and Peyton Yost. Dear sister of David (Betsy) Burke, the late Lucille (the late Mike) Dobeck, the late Jack Burke (wife Judy, surviving), and the late Cathy Burke. Aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Joan was a retired Registered Nurse who helped many people. She was a long time member of St. Michael Catholic Church and served on the Altar and Rosary Society and volunteered at the Lenten Fish Dinners. She was a member of the Seniors of Independence, she volunteered at the Soup Kitchen, The Cleveland Food Bank, and belonged to St. Vincent Charity Retired Nurses Association.
Family and friends may call for visitation at Vodrazka Golubski Deliberato Funeral Care, 6505 Brecksville Rd., Independence on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 3-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 22, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, at 10 a.m. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.
