These words really captured Joanies special essence for me, We went to college together then lost touch until fairly recently. The loss of her bright light has broken many hearts. But Joanie will be remembered for her joy, kindness, and optimism in the face of hardship and her immense talent. My sincerest condolences to her closest family and friends.
Joanie and I met at Playhouse . I remember her laughter and the way she could make you laugh. It was harder for her to get around but she did not complain. Joan left a light in this word and it passes in everyone she touched
Joan was a joyful friend a wonderful actress and a fun person. We attended classes at the Cleveland Playhouse together as high school students. I miss those fun days and our carpool buddies, Rosie, Phil and John on those early Saturday mornings. God Bless you and your family, Joan.
Joannie had so much heart to share, and what an acting and singing talent she was on stage. Her real talent however was her humanity, intelligence, and laughter that she shared always with a touch of glamour and old fashioned graciousness. Her sudden passing leaves such a void in our hearts. Condolences to her relatives.
