James Edward Cencer's Obituary
James Edward Cencer (Big Jim), 74, of Overton, NV, formerly of Brecksville, OH, passed away on August 28, 2017.
Jim retired as a Brecksville Police Officer; owned security and trucking companies; served as Communication Director for the Cleveland Grand Prix; and drove for the Brecksville Road Transit and school bus driver. Jim loved trains, whether sitting and watching them, traveling on them, or playing with them, especially in his backyard garden railroad.
He is survived by Carol (Litostanski), his loving wife of 53 years; children Debbie (Bill) Moss, Donna Cencer, James (Julie) Cencer; grandchildren Kyle Moss, Harry Cencer, Sophia Cencer, Tyler Moss, and Olivia Cencer; sister Barbara (James) Laski; brother Larry (Debbie) Cencer; and predeceased by brother Norbert (Jenny).
A Funeral Mass will be held at10 a.m., Saturday, September 16, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut St., Independence, OH.
