James Bartholomew's Obituary
JAMES A BARTHOLOMEW, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and master of many hobbies, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024, at the age of 86. Born in September 1937, James led a life marked by creativity and love. He found joy in watercolor painting, an art that reflected the beauty he saw in the world. His passion for fishing, model trains, and woodworking not only filled his home with treasures but also inspired those around him. Married for 63 years to his beloved wife, Janet, James was a cornerstone of a loving family. Together, they raised two daughters, the late Catherine (Kenneth) and Lynne, who inherited their father's kindness and artistic flair.
His legacy continued to flourish through the lives of his three grandchildren, Jessica (Maximillian), Hannah (James), and George, to whom he passed down his love for life's simple pleasures. James was also the cherished brother of the late Anthony (Janet). James Bartholomew's life was a canvas of dedication, warmth, and generosity. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered through the stories shared, the art he created, and the indelible mark he left on his family's hearts.
