Jacqueline Weiler-Adkins' Obituary
JACQUELINE "JACKIE" WEILER-ADKINS, AGE 30, WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2023. She was the cherished wife of Jude Adkins, the treasured daughter of Kevin and Jennifer Weiler, beloved sister of Kevin Jr. (Stacey) and Colleen (Bryan Henderson), and a dear aunt to Beckham, Frances, and Clare.
Everyone who knew Jackie appreciated her sense of humor and keen wit. Despite enduring Cystic Fibrosis and its many effects, she had an infectious zest for life. When asked to describe her to others her parents would say, "Jackie is one of a kind!"
Jackie enjoyed horseback riding, reading, and writing. She felt a special kinship with Michael Jackson and his compassion for others. She had a faithful cat, Chloe, who refused to leave Jackie's side during the final hours of her life.
Jackie was blessed to be joined in marriage with the love of her life, Jude, just eight days before passing. Her wedding guests included her doctors, nurses, and caregivers at the Cleveland Clinic Heart and Lung Transplant Center.
Jackie was deeply spiritual, with a profound faith in God and a love for Jesus Christ. She was involved in the Easter pageant, Tetelestai, for several years.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD. (1/2 mile south of Rockside), on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 4-8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM on Friday, Nov. 3 at St. Basil the Great Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville. She will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
The family suggests that contributions may be made in Jackie's memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at cff.org or to Donate Life at lifebanc.org.
