Henry Mieskowski's Obituary
HENRY "HANK" MIESKOWSKI JR., AGE 84 OF INDEPENDENCE, PASSED AWAY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2025. Cherished husband of Mary (nee Galicki) for over 48 years; beloved father of Joseph (Elizabeth), Jennifer (deceased), and Mark; proud and devoted grandfather of Caroline, Joseph Jr., Evelyn, and Alexander; dear brother of the late Patricia Anescheck (John); loving uncle and cousin to many; son of the late Henry J. and Bertha Mieskowski.
Hank was an Independence resident and parishioner of St. Michael Catholic Church for 79 years. He was a 1959 graduate of Independence High School and retired from the auto industry after 43 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Most importantly, Hank was an extremely devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle who loved spending time with his family and beloved grandchildren.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd.), ON SUNDAY, APRIL 6, 2025 FROM 2-4 PM AND 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence on Monday, April 7 at 11:30 AM. Henry will be laid to rest at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, OH immediately following mass.
