I was a childhood friend of Greg from Schaaf road. I would say he was my best friend at the time. Moved away, lost track over the years, but good memories last. He was a good friend and I am sure a good father and husband. I know this is late as I was just made aware, but please accpet my condolences. I was lucky to have known Uncle Greg from an early age. He took notice of my early interest in music and introduced me to his seemingly endless record collection, meticulously wrapped and catalogued. I held my first "import" LP in his office/study/music room. He sent me home with a cassette full of Squeeze that day. I have gone and then returned to the area over the years. Every time I'd see him it was as no time had passed. I'll miss him.

Greg was truly a 'sweetheart' - the kindest, most generous guy you'll ever come across. When you use the phrase "he'd give ya the shirt off his back", you're talking about Greg. Although I hadn't seen him the past couple of years, Greg and I played in a rock & roll band together for nine years before that. Dependable, reliable, consistent - and very talented. The kind of person you'd want for a friend, not just a bandmate. And I've always been proud to call Greg my friend. He will be missed by all that had the honor and privelidge to know him. My deepest sympathy and condolences to all his family.
Greg will certainly be missed by everyone who knew him. Thinking of all of the family at this time. Our sympathy goes out to all of his family and the enormous amount of friends that he has.
